Raffir Metapol - 3D aluminum composites

Raffir Metapol is a composite material based on metal and polymers. The metal used is recycled aluminium shavings with light colour, good machinability and corrosion resistance. The polymers are epoxy resins because of their high bond strength. The result is a deep coloured shiny material for beautiful handles, jewellery etc.
The material comes in a variety of colours, is easily machined and can obtain a high gloss finish after polishing.
Standard safety measures should be followed while machining the materials, and inhaling dust particles should be avoided by using local exhaust ventilation and respirator. Furthermore, please note that this material contains Epoxy and should not be machined by anyone sensitive to epoxy resins.
